Feeling perplexed

This process called life, presents one with so many different opportunities & choices.
The different opportunities that one faces, & the different choices that one makes,
leads one to many different routes in life, thus living different life & meeting different people.

But we can only pass through life once, & thus there is only one road that one can takes.
When we choose to go on this path, we miss out living another kind of life, & meeting another group of friends.
But we really don't know what the future holds for us, & the sacrifices & uncertainties we have to face when we take on a certain route.

I really wish that there is a chance for me to live different kinds of life on this planet earth,
to go back to a particular time in life, to make an entirely different choice,
& thus to live another life that I have also yearns to live.

I believe that I am just too greedy, there are just too much things that I wanted out of life.
I don't want to live a life that I will regret & one that I feel wasted.

I have decided to stay on in Singapore, to stay on in this school, to continue to build strong friendship with fellow brothers & sisters, my colleagues & friends, to contribute more as a sub-leader.

What will we miss out in USA, I really don't know. I will continue to wonder, to contemplate.
But I believe even in this mundane everyday life, god will continue to open new doors to me,
to bring new people & opportunities into my life, to continue to guide me to lead a meaningful life.

I just pray right now that they will let me go, & we will end this "saga" in a peaceful way. It will just be another espisode in my rather monotonous working life.
