Becoming Jane

This is my 1st time putting pictures into this old old blogspot version & thus the pictures might not turn out as visually attractive as it could be.

I had been watching quite a few new & old movies recently & this one touches my heart especially. It may or may not be a true biography of the famous 18th/19th English novelist Jane Austen. But it is as true as it can gets, & Jane is as famous as she can be.

English literature of that generation has always attracted me in a very special way. It seems that the story 'Pride & Prejudice' is somewhat a reflection of Jane's own life but with a happy ending, unlike her own life.

This story has also ignite my interest & passion in english literature & although I don't have a chance to study english literature last time, I will start doing so now by reading 'Pride & Prejudice' & 'Sense & Sensibility'.

But sometimes life is so sad, lonely & ironic. A hand that can write, a heart that is so full of passion, & a mind that is so bright & independent in thinking, will only end up alone, living in the past & in memories, & like many other ordinary human beings, become dust eventually......
