The rationale for going 4-2??? Can anybody tell me???

Our school is going 4-2 next year, but I still do not know the rationale for going 4-2. I guess its because of something said by a certain minister a few years ago, that's why all the schools are slowly doing it. But this system seems to have alot of flaws, that's why some schools are back to the 3-3 system again. Sometimes they can have alot of vision, mission, goals, etc. but in the end, not one of them is fulfilled. So when are we going single session, when is the class size going to be reduced to 30, when, when, when......??? I guess only god knows......

This system is reallygoing to be though for MT teachers like us as some are teaching 4,5,6 or 3,4,5 or 3,4,6. I guess maybe they should ask the EMS teacher to teach 3 levels of upper primary english and then they would fully understand wholeheartedly our workload & stress.

But those teaching 1,2,2 will be really relax loh. But with the new CL syllabus, it is not easy for them next year too. Can I say I'm the more lucky one & only as I'm floating and teaching 1,3,5. But its really god's grace that I finally got this combination in this end. This issue had been troubling me for the whole holiday as I was supposed to teach 3,5,6 next year. I guess I really can't endure teaching another year of P6 next year. I don't want to say much about the stress & pressure of teaching P6 in this school. I guess only one word could sum up my feelings, and that is "Crazy".

As we welcome the new year 2007 with open arms, my mind is filled with all kinds of thoughts and my heart is filled with all kinds of feelings. I guess only you understand how I feel, my dear father.
