Rita Angus works

I just came back from NZ last evening, still having jet lag & still feeling very tired today. Just feel that although my body is back here in Singapore, my heart, mind & soul is still somewhere in NZ. As I still have not got my NZ photos from QY, I decided to write some entries based on different themes.

The last city that I travelled to was Dunedin city. This is a city that will always have a place in my heart. I visited this city 4 years ago, & as I re-visit again this year, I still find it very interesting & there are still many corners of the street that I would like to explore. There was even a stir in my heart, & the yearning to live in this city for a few years start to grow.

The last place I visited in this city was the Art Gallery. Although we only had 30 mins to view the gallery, the paintings of Rita Angus left a deep impression in my heart, & thus I decided to read up more on her after coming back to Singapore.

I love both her oil & water colour paintings & those of landscape, & nature. Thus I'm putting up some of her paintings here to share with everyone.

MOE called me today to go for an interview for posting to MINDEF USA post. I want to get away from the routineness of life here, & from many other things. But its for 2 years, & there are people whom I will miss here, & many unforseen circumstances ahead. So I really don't know whether I should pray that I will get the job or not. Father, please show me a sign......
